Drop-down menus are the hottest thing since Wonder Bread but . . .
1. Alot of people put them in the
they-look-nice-but-you-cant-code-them-right-so-they-always-look-messed-up
category (a la "frames"). Do you think this is true>
2. Some people think they take up too much KB.
3. Some people are worried that people who have javascript turned off
wont be able to see them. What percent of web users have javascrips
turned off? I thought it was...

Hi. I am trying to create a horizontal menu like the one here
http://www.milonic.com/menusample25.php where the drop down menu for each
item it horizontal on a new row instead of vertical. Another example is at
www.virginblue.com.au. I am pretty new to doing fancy style sheet stuff so
any info would be appreciated.

From an example supplied with Visual Web Developer Express 2005,
I am trying to build a "horizontal menu" with drop down links.
In the example below I have added: url="mouse.aspx?/">
to <siteMapNode title="Mouse"
This works - i.e. If I click Products/Hardware/Mouse - mouse.aspx opens.

I am trying to incorporate a CSS drop-down menu into a site (suckerfish menu). The menu gets lost behind the content below it, but only on one of the drop downs (News). The error occurs on all of the browsers I have tested it on (IE6, IE7, Firefox, Opera and Safari). It is probably something simple, but I can't find it!

I am using a nested list for a simple drop-down menu. All CSS and XHTML
validate. The menu is displayed properly in 7 different newer browsers
including IE7, Firefox, Opera & Safari. I have implemented csshover.htc.
In IE6, the menu displays on two lines and the drop-down (Calendar) does
not work. Any clue where the problem lies? Url: caz-cc.com/index.htm.
