You need to create a button or text link that will connect to the link.
if you use a button then you would need to do something like this.

click on the button or text you made.
Select the behaviors window and click on the plus sign (+) select go to webpage. Type in the path your ppt file is at. Click ok. that it.
Make sure you have the right path/directory or it will not work.
You if use the text as a link Flash will make you convert it to a symbol

I am webmaster for the domain <www.alpha1.org.au>. Not being an expert in html, I take advantage of my domain Registrant's web building tool, 'Instant Website'. This tool is provided as part of the fee I pay for web hosting. 'Instant Website' provides the option of having your opening page as a Flash Page, which you'll see if you visit <www.alpha1.org.au>. Well, you'll see it if you visit from a Windows machine. For some reason, when...

A demo created by a person who has since left, runs fine on a local (Windows XP) system within flash player 8, but when we try to access it through the html version (index.html) on a local system or on our server, there is a breakdown when it tries to load .FLV files sequentially. All the files share the same directory. There are no 'subfolders', all files are in the same root folder called group_quote. Given that the sequential loading...

Hello all, I want to create my own filesystem on a flash memory card. How can I open the card as a raw character device? On a unix-like system I can just open /dev/hdx as a file and do whatever I want. How can I achieve the same thing under MS DOS or Windows 98? Thanks!

Hello, I have searched for this answer and the posted solutions do not work for me or they are slightly different. I have a USB flash drive that contains default.htm, medical.bat, and java folders/files What I want to do is run medical.bat from within default.htm when the user clicks on a launch button or image. The medical.bat file contains parameters to run a java application that also resides on the USB flash drive. If I link the...

Using A2000. Its been working OK Yesterday it started hanging when trying to open VB using Alt-F11. Watching the TaskManager, it shows Microsoft Access and Running before I click Alt-F11. Then when I click Alt-F11., the status changes to "Not Responding" within a second and then it shows another line in the task manager labeled Microsoft Access Not Responding (there are 2 of these). Ending one, drops both of then off the task...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
