I Want To Create A Link In Flash So That It Opens Another Flash File.

1 New Member
Hello,

Ive got a problem, i want to create a link within the flash document so that it takes me to another flash document.

When clicking on the link the document should open within a flash player rather than a browser.

All advice will be much appreciated.

thank you!

You won't be able to do this. Why is this necessary?

Not sure what you mean in this "When clicking on the link the document should open within a flash player rather than a browser."
Do you want the flash player to open in the same web page.
if so that can be done...

Hello! Please, could you tell me, is it possible to create and stream for example a text file to the browser so that the file is not stored anywhere on a hard drive? User click's a link, eg. http://my.domain.com/apps/app/page.aspx?docID=235 and then the text file opens with a text "235" and when the user closes the file there is not track of the file anywhere on a hard drive.

Hi, I'm new to Flash am trying to link to an external site, which consists of a single flash file, and load a specific frame. The actionscript code I have attached to the button so far is as follows: on (release) { getURL("http://www.tinhorse.com", "_self"); gotoAndStop("we_see"); } The link takes me to the external site as required but does not load the correct frame. It looks like gotoAndStop function is not being passed on to...

Hi, I previously posted my question but it was wrongly labeled. So here it is again: in Flash, I created a dynamic field that called a txt file. In this text, I would like to have a link that call another txt file so this new text would replace the first one (see example here: http://www.behelbe.com/link/exemple.swf). So far, in this example, the link opens another page with the text inside. How to proceed to have this text into the dynamic...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
