I have an ASP page with the "no cache" command. I know the ASP file is not
being cached. But the flash file that is embedded in the ASP page is
repeatedly cached by my browser.
Anyone discover a sure-fire method to prevent caching of embedded files?

Overview:
I have a custom web app that has an 'Inbox' that refreshes every 30 seconds.
One user uses Outlook to host the web page.
Using IE, the refresh works fine. If the user is working in another window,
the
web page quietly refreshes in the background.
Hosted in Outlook, the refresh causes Outlook to come to the front on
every refresh. Or in XP, causes the toolbar icon to flash.

I am looking for a method to extract the links embedded within the
Javascript in a web page: an ActiveX component, or example code in
C++/Pascal/etc. I am looking for a general solution, not one tailored
to a particular page/script.
Hopefully, the problem can be solved without recreating a complete
Javascript interpreter. Any ideas?

Hi
I have a flash interactive window which has html links and this
appears on an html page. This window can be moved with the mouse on
the html page. The html page has an iFrame too. When the flash window
comes above the iframe area the html links stop working. Yet the links
remain active when the flash window is outside the iFrame area. This
problem is coming in Firefox, but running fine in IE.
If anybody has any solution, please...

I have a problem with embedded content, quicktime and youtube flash content, in a page. My page has a sidebar on the left and mixed content on the right. When I scroll through the content and the embedded content disappears out of view, I get strange behaviour in Safari. The browser is not able to hide the embedded content correctly and it mixes up with my leftbar. I have made two test pages:

I have a .swf file that is going in the web page for the logo. It is supposed to be 610px wide and 81px in height when rendered in the HTML. The actual .swf file, when viewed standalone, appears much larger than that - but I presume I should be able to just set its rendered / desired dimensions when I embed it in the HTML, as usual.
The odd thing is that the .swf, when embedded and viewed in the web page, is displayed extremely small.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
