I have a problem with embedded content, quicktime and youtube flash content, in a page. My page has a sidebar on the left and mixed content on the right. When I scroll through the content and the embedded content disappears out of view, I get strange behaviour in Safari. The browser is not able to hide the embedded content correctly and it mixes up with my leftbar. I have made two test pages:

http://www.letman.com/testquicktime.h tml
Any solutions?

Hello,
I have an index page with an autoscroller writen with CSS.
The problem is the scrolling content(text and inages)'s position is correct
but will off position when the broswer(IE) window size was changed.
How can I make the scrolling content "stick" the position with respect to
the scrollowing box?
Your advise is appreciated.

Hi all,
I've got some strange behavior happening in Firefox and Safari (Khtml
and Gecko) that displays *almost* fine in IE6.0 (still trying to get
pixels to line up, anal anal anal...)
To speed things up, and to avoid any problems with looking through the
css file, I'll say first that I based the navigation menu on the
"Suckerfish Dropdown menu" online demo over at htmldog.

Hi all,
I've trolled through Google, a little of evolt, css-discuss archives,
and sent the list a request, all to no avail. I consulted
positioniseverything.net and quirksmode.org. The issue I have seems
simple enough that I'd have turned it up on any of those sources, but,
alas, that's not the case.
So, please refer to

Hi,
I have a filled multiline textbox on the site. I can scroll it with IE and
Firefox, but under Opera (tested under 7.54, and Opera 8, under "identify as
MSIE" and under Opera identification) , I'm getting a strange behavior: When
I try to scroll, the text doesn't move. It only moves to a new position, if I
move the scroll marks, and then click on a empty place of the website.
There is nothing on the site, just the textbox.

The following program simply sets the icon of a form called form1. When I
get the name of the embedded icon using GetManifestResourceNames(), I store
the name in a string variable called s. The value of s is "test2.icon1.ico".
This program will compile and run just fine from visual studio .net 2003
using .net 1.1 and also will compile and run just fine using csc form1.cs
/resource:icon1.ico.
Now, I created a new string called s2 and...

Hi, I'm checking out the Deluxe Menu (http://deluxe-menu.com/) for a client. We want to use the scrolling feature but scrollbars appear in it on Safari, which is ugly. Has anyone ever used this and disabled the scrollbars on Safari? Does anyone know much about scrolling divs and Safari in general and/or have any ideas about this?
I'm just checking out the demo version and so can't look at the source code right now.

Good day, fellows!
I have a strange problem – at my site there is a flash strip, that
loads data dynamically.
It works fine (grabs data from the remote server and presents it),
however in IE7 and its clones I encounter a strange problem where I
can hear clicking sound non-stop (like the page is being reloaded non-
stop), whereas the page is not reloading.

I am replacing my Javascript-called files with SSI, and I'm getting an
unexpected result with my page footer. I can really use some help
with this.
The footer contains a copyright (left justified), and page links
(right justfied) all on the same line. After changing to SSI, the
right side links are correct, but the left side copyright looks to be
wrapping to the next line. I can fix this in IE by moving it back up
in line with the...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
