Linking Access 2003 to Outlook

I have an accommodation db in which I would like to link with Outlook
if the booking was received from an email. I currently record the fact
that the booking was received by an email but I would like to be able
to click a button which would take me directly to the booking email.
Is this possible? Any help would be appreciated.

TIA - Chesne

This will get VERY unruly if you have any volume of accommodations at
all. You will ahve to ensure that you never delete the emails in
question and that you always follow a naming/storage convention in
maintaining them. It will clutter up your Outlook horridly and we all
know how crappy Outlook is in the first place. I would loko at other
methods to accomplish the true underlying objective.

I'm trying to create a link from Access 2003 to an Exchange 2000 Public Folder called "WMContacts" I choose File => Get External Data=> Link Tables. I choose Exchange() and the wizard give me the Link Exchange/Outlook Wizard. From there I choose Public Folders => All Public Folders => WMContacts. I leave the linked table name as "WMContacts". It then displays a nastygram with the following: "The MAPI store "WMContacts" is known but is...

Greetings! I'm totally pulling what's left of my hair out. Down to business. I would like to know if it's possible to link most of the OL2003 Task fields to Access 2003. Most importantly, the "Subject" field. I understand how to create a Task from within Access, but I'd also like to go back and delete a specific task from Access when it's complete. None of the fields given with the Link Table Wizard would allow me to accomplish...

Hello All, I have a major application for quoting and invoicing that is written in Access 97 (both front and back ends). I have a user base of over 300 customers, and currently I don't require that they have Access 97, as I use the access 97 runtime scripts from Sagekey software. The main problems I've seen with Access 97 are the built in e-mail support for sending reports. Unless a user uses the MS Outlook 2000/XP method, they have to...

I am converting an application from A97 to A2003. I have 2 tables created by another application as a Foxpro.dbf. The table has no index. The connect string in A97 is FoxPro 2.0;HDR=NO;IMEX=2;DATABASE=C:\Test It's really easy to connect to those tables in A97. I'm having difficulties in A2003. I'm trying to follow the instructions in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/824264/.

I am in the midst of trying to convert about 25 Access 2000 to Access 2003. The new environment consists of Office/Access 2003 and Outlook 2003. When converting the back ends I have no problems. When converting the front ends I get the following issues and error. If I try to import all the objects into a blank Access 2003 shell I get a missing reference error for Outlook 2000, Excel 2000, and Word 2000 or after importing all the objects...

Hi. I'm trying to couple my contacts data in Outlook to an Access 2003 application using the wizard Exchange/Outlook at some point. If I open the linked contacts table, not all fields from my Outlook contacts entry form are available, nor the corresponding data. The field Categories, for example, so useful for filtering isn't there. How can I get full access to my Outlook data from within my Access application? -- Klaas

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
