Hello again.
I am trying to figure out how to link a picture to a record from code. I
have figured out how to get the proper dialogue box to open but I still
have to manually check off the Link checkbox. Is there a way to automate
the checking of this box? I am not doing any of this through code
because when I tried that, I could not make it work from code so I am
simply using the default behaviours of the bound object frame.
I hope...

Hi!!
Years ago I built a database to control the production of a little
factory.
The users wanted to work in a Windows Net workgroup so I created an
mdb with all the tables and data an after that every user had his own
mde linked to the main mdb.
Year by year, progressively the number of records has been growing and
the speed of the application has decreased strongly, because of the
grrrreat number of records stored.

I need to import data from 720 csv files into an Access database so I can do
some editing prior to loading into a SQL Server. These files came from data
output from a mainframe on a monthly basis. There are 15 files created each
month with each file containing specific data.
What I started to do is store the files by year and then by month so I new
when the data is based on. I have linked the table to the database and them
append the...

I'm trying to link an MS Outlook 2003 contacts table in an Exchange
mailbox to an MS Access 2003 table. I have 436 contact records in the
contacts folder but when I run the link table wizard using the Exchange
conduit the resulting table contains only 369 records, and many of them
are duplicates except for the business fax number.
I can't see any pattern to the omitted contact records. Is there
something I should be doing to get them all...

Hello!
I'm trying to develop an application to manage email-forwardings on an
Exchange 2000 Server.
Forwardings to external Addresses are requiring a contact with an
Exchange account. I can create the contact in the Active Directory, but
when I try to create an Exchange Account, I get this error (translated

My company would like to implement an online calendar that integrates
with our current website that would allow our clients to view upcoming
workshops and events. These "appointments" are currently entered by the
event coordinators into a public calendar on our Exchange 2000 server.
Our Exchange 2000 server and our Internet server exist on two different
machines and a solution cannot consist of a "server" program that
resides on the...

hi everyone,
i hope you might help me on this one. i need to create a contact in a
exchange public folder using dotnet (vb or c#) and exchange 2003, without
using outlook object model. i'm searching for a few hours and can't find a
clear example on how to do it. i've already seen code blocks using webdav,
directory services, but always related with creating active directory users
or mail enabling users, not exactly what i'm looking for....

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
