Reading Information From Microsoft Exchange 2000

My company would like to implement an online calendar that integrates
with our current website that would allow our clients to view upcoming
workshops and events. These "appointmen ts" are currently entered by the
event coordinators into a public calendar on our Exchange 2000 server.
Our Exchange 2000 server and our Internet server exist on two different
machines and a solution cannot consist of a "server" program that
resides on the Exchange server and communicates with the "client" (web
server). I've tried using an evaluation version of Independentsoft 's
WebDAV .NET for Exchange and have had success reading from the Exchange
store. A license from Independentsoft , however, is $299 and my small
non-profit company cannot afford this. Could anyone suggest another
feasible solution and perhaps some examples?
Thanks,

Jayme

I am trying to write a program that will log into a user's mailbox and loop through all folders looking for certain file extensions. Can anyone tell me what methods I need to use to retrieve the folder list for a user mailbox? I know I can read through an Outlook folder list but that means I have to run the program on each workstation. Thanks. Nancy

I have no idea how to get started, really, but I am looking for a way to have an email sent via an ASP page via our Exchange 2000 server. I have a fairly simple asp page that displays data from a SQL 2000 database in the form of web links. A part of this page allows people to post links to the database for display. When someone posts a link, I would like an email sent to me with the data (link) that they posted through the ASP page. ...

I've written an event sink for Exchange 2000 in managed code, but have found problems now I've come to test it. My Exchange box needs upgrading to SP3 so I can install the Exchange SDK tools needed to hook up the event sink. I've just noticed the SP3 documentation states that Exchange SP3 can't be installed on a server running .Net... I was planning on having the component I've written running on the Exchange 2000 server. Obviously if...

Does anyone know if there is an alternative to reading Exchange 2003 public folders with WMI? I am using WMI in VB.NET to read a list of public folders on an Exchange 2003 server. My problem is that it is INCREDIBLY slow!!! It seems to reads in chunks from the server with a long delay between "chunks." The other problem is that the server has over 60,000 public folders! (So you can imagine how long this takes!) Is there an...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
