This should be so easy, but it is not working.
What should happen is that if $p=home in the url then it displays
home.php and if $p does not equal home then it displays page.php which
is a template.
What am I missing?

Beside its an opensource and supported by community, what's the fundamental
differences between PostgreSQL and those high-price commercial database (and
some are bloated such as Oracle) from software giant such as Microsoft SQL
Server, Oracle, and Sybase?
Is PostgreSQL reliable enough to be used for high-end commercial

Hi,
I have downloaded the source code and installed everything on
http://validator.w3.org/source/. I have the validator 'working' offline
with Apache2. I have uploaded a valid XHTML 1 Strict file to the online
validator and it passes with flying colours. When I pass it to my offline
version, it says, "This page is not Valid XHTML 1.0 Strict!". This happens
with both the Address and Local File methods.
I tried the command line...

I'm working on migrating an Classic ASP/VB6 COM application from an NT
Server with IIS<6 to an virtual machine running Windows Server 2003 and
IIS 6. I've worked through most of the obvious problems resulting from
IIS 6 prohibiting ASP and SSI etc, but I've hit a peculiar wall.
One ASP page uses a VB6 COM object that basically reads from an .INI
file and uses it to open another file. The existing code uses this line
(in VB6) to do this:...

Hi,
Is using frames in a website as big an issue nowadays as it was maybe 5 or
so years ago? I can remember that you used to have to have a frame site, as
well as a non frame site for browsers that didn't support the framed
version. I wonder whether newer browsers have fixed that problem, and I can
now use frames without fear?
Regards,
Murray R. Van Luyn.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
