I have a popup form that has Start and Stop buttons to initiate a search for
email messages. If the user's Inbox has thousands of messages, the Stop
button will gracefully end the search without making the user wait for the
search to complete. The form has an option to "start searching when form
opens", so the user can take the default...

I have a web control that takes a date input. There are two types of
validation I want to do on this:
1) validate that the date input is in the proper format, and display a
message if otherwise
2) validate that the date is not prior to today, and display a message if
otherwise.

Is there a way, using PHP, to detect and display an error from a MySQL
server? Can I, by using error numbers or some similar method, create my own

I would like to display error messages put out by shell commands. For
example the following code gives no output and the array $output has no
values:
<?php
exec( 'lss', $output );
var_dump( $output );
?>
...assuming that I don't have an executable called 'lss' on my computer.

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
