I'm not sure where to start with this. I have 3 MSSQL servers. Server
A publishes a database to B and C. The publication is set up as
transactional, immediate updating with queued failover. There is a
'push' subscription from A to B and C. MSSQL 2K SP3. Win2K.
This has been working perfectly for several months.
Recently I tried to add a column to one of the tables using
filter-columns dialog on subscription properties. Wouldn't work without
calling sp_repladdcolum n manually with force_reinit_su bscription set.
Reinitialized subscriptions. Had to change snapshot settings on several
articles to "delete all" to avoid constraint violations I was getting
with DROP setting.
Reinitialized subscriptions. Generated snapshot. All systems go so far.
Now I have a problem where SOME of the tables do not replicate inserts
SOME of the time ?!? No errors in any log files, no visible signs of
problems, except some inserts do not make it. Other inserts do make
it, and I get constraint violations because of the ones that did not
make it. But sometimes they DO make it. AAARRRRRGGGHHHH .
Much of the updating is being done through a JDBC app using jTDS 0.8
rc1, if that matters. No JDBC errors.
Can anyone suggest a good way to start debugging this beast ???

Hi,
We have one domain with a mixture of NT PDC's one Win2K DC (which was the
first installed) and 4 Windows 2003 DC's.
I created our sites as per MS documentation and created the subnets that
match each site. I moved each server into its own site. I then create the
Inter-site transport with IP. I create one call "All Sites" and copied all
sites into it.

I have a large number of tables in a database, and I'm looking at
replicating only 5 of those 4000+ tables to about 5-7 other hosts.
The primary server runs 4.0.15 and would replicate to 3.23 hosts. Is
this possible. Will 3.23.58 be able to get databases updates via
replication from 4.0.15?
Any assistance, insights, gotcha's appreciated.

administrator in charge of them, so one user will have one
administrator and an administrator will have many users. The
administrators will also be a user but will not have an administrator

I have been always using div's for web site design and no tables.
However, I have to admit that sometimes tables are useful when
creating for example a form.
What is your advice? Only div's with no tables?

I have an ASP.Net 2.0 Repeater replicating tables. I want users to be able to click on an item and have the "hidden" table drop down beneath the row where the user just clicked.
My problems are that with the repeater I cannot reference the 'ID' of items very well as they change to whatever the .NET control wants. I also tried adding <% %> in my ID to attempt to control them, however it does not seem to like that very much.
