Replicating multple tables

Hi,
I am using DB2 v 8.2 Enterprise Server Edition. We can replicate only a
single table at once. Now, how to replicate multiple tables in a single
shot.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

There is a batch interface to replication. It's the asnclp tool, you can
download the manual from this link:

I have a large number of tables in a database, and I'm looking at replicating only 5 of those 4000+ tables to about 5-7 other hosts. The primary server runs 4.0.15 and would replicate to 3.23 hosts. Is this possible. Will 3.23.58 be able to get databases updates via replication from 4.0.15? Any assistance, insights, gotcha's appreciated. Thanks,

Hello, I'm not sure where to start with this. I have 3 MSSQL servers. Server A publishes a database to B and C. The publication is set up as transactional, immediate updating with queued failover. There is a 'push' subscription from A to B and C. MSSQL 2K SP3. Win2K. This has been working perfectly for several months. Recently I tried to add a column to one of the tables using

I am working on a DB2 replication program that used to work. I ran the "warm" capture program to get a cold start and I am running the apply program, but, the apply does not replicate the data. I update a test table and I see that the CD table gets new rows. But the apply program does not seem to be doing anything .. I see the asnapply is running, but not doing anything: 2005-07-31-02:18:03 ASN1045I: The Apply program was started using...

I am working with a production runtime Access 2000 db, split front-end and back-end. Running on a network, I need a nightly copy of the backend transferred to a laptop with a temporary network connection so as to be able to run a locally linked version of the database outside of the production environment. No data will be modified; it will be read-only. I am struggling with docmd.transferdatabase and trying to empty the laptop-local...

Hi I'm in need of creating reporting database. What I have to do it is to replicate only half of tables to next database so reports could query only that second database. Unfortunately there is too many inserts in existing database so simple master/slave solution won't give me much. I was wondering if there is a way to replicate just few tables? Can I use for it mysql replication or do I have to create manually scripts to do that? I...

I am replicating an 80GB database between NY can CT and would like to know why table sizes are different between the two. Here is an example of sp_spaceused:: NY IOI_2007_04_23 rows(279,664) reserved(464,832) data(439,960) index_size(24,624) CT IOI_2007_04_23 rows(279,666) reserved(542,232) data(493,232) index_size(48,784) Thanks,

Hi, I'm using MySQL v5.0 and we currently have a database containing several tables with Full Text indexes. Some of these tables contain ~800,000 records of >500Kb text. While the majority of queries are selects - when we need to do Inserts to these tables they are becoming horrendously slow. If I set up an additional server - is it possible to set up a replication partnership so that the fulltext index is only present on the slave?...

I have a situation whereby I have to enter many records in a db that only have one field that changes. For example software installed on a computer would give you many different rows of data with just a single variant in the software field. I want to know if it is possible to have my form setup in such a way that it takes one instance of constant data and various instances of a variant field but for each variant create a new record and add...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
