Hi,
I'm creating an AppDomain and creating an instance of a class. This works
fine unless I use caching, which I need to use.
The exception that I get is of type "System.IO.FileLoadException" which
message is:
{"The given assembly name or codebase, 'MyAssemblyDisplayName', was
invalid." }
The stack trace is:

Is there any way I can reduce the size of internal buffer to store
characters by std::string?
After having used a string object to store large strings, the object
seems to
retain the large buffer as I found out calling by capacity().
What if I do not need all that buffer space again want to reduce the
size to
a smaller one? I tried resize() passing a smaller size than the

Hello;
My "index.htm" page has 3 frames (content, navigation bar, and logo).
I set the "SRC" of the "logo" frame to a blank gif image and then want to
change it's contents after the other two frames have been loaded by using a
javascript statement from the "navigation" frame, as shown below:
top.window.ccs_logo.src = 'images/ccs_logo.gif';
alert(top.window.ccs_logo.src);

Greetings all gurus of this group..
While the comments are appropriate as far as substance is
concerned I really think it would be a little bit more
helpful if in addition some meaningful response to the OP
request be made.
Some posters (clearly this one) come to the net in search for
help, and it is rather discouraging to be read the "riot
act" instead.

I have an application that should run in the system tray while open.
It is supposed to be open at all times and I need it to dissapear when
the "X" button is pushed on the form...but without closing the app.
I've tried overriding the closing event
> Private Sub frmMain_Closing(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As
> System.ComponentModel.CancelEventArgs) Handles MyBase.Closing
> 'Don't close this form
> e.Cancel = True

I'm sure I'm just missing something here but is there a way to nest
objects inside an object or a collection that functions like an object
with properties BESIDES creating whole classes or making public
variables?
Private Sub Click()
Dim x as SomeSortOfCollection
msg box(x.Name & " " & x.Phone)
End Sub

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
