"Site Check Please" -- the responses --

Greetings all gurus of this group..

While the comments are appropriate as far as substance is
concerned I really think it would be a little bit more
helpful if in addition some meaningful response to the OP
request be made.

Some posters (clearly this one) come to the net in search for
help, and it is rather discouraging to be read the "riot
act" instead.

So, perhaps, if there is no specific response forthcoming
then just ignore the post ?? eh ??

Happy new year to all..!!

There was a post to this group which got some rather heavy
flack.. The title was "Site...".. Maybe I should have
responded to that original post rather than posting this
message.. You may want to search the posts of the last..

Thanks, and may it be a happy year for you..

No thanks. If _you_ think it is of value to restore the chain of posts and
replies, you can always ad the Message-ID of the previous post to this thread.
I'm not interested in a way that I'll go look for that thing myself.

In regards to mod_python, I keep getting this warning when I do apachectl configtest: Loaded DSO libexec/mod_python.so uses plain Apache 1.3 API, this module might crash under EAPI! (please recompile it with -DEAPI) So I googled what I can, and have read various responses. Most say you just need to recompile the module with the DEAPI flag. I was getting the same message for mod_php, and fixed that. However, with the same config...

this may be more of an "html" issue, but I'll wing it. i've got a multi-language site, where the home-page of each language group features a link to a popup window that offers background info on site management. the popup is fired by a javascript function, when they click the site management link. there's also a "window close" function button so they can nuke it as they please. now, oddly, people who search for my site in the chinese...

I'm writing a test "modular site". So far I have created an App class, a Module Manager class and a couple of test modules. The Manager looks in a directory called 'modules' and then for every ..php file is try to create a class of type <filenameminus the .php, so eg. for testmodule.php it tries to create a class "testmodule" and puts it into an array within the module manager called $_modules Module Manager has a dispatch_message...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
