Windows XP, Apache 2, PHP5 RC1
Hello,
A total newbie here. I can't seem to get Apache2 to load the php5
module. When I loaded up this html file in a browser, only the Today's
date: line prints on the page.

I have an install problem on IIS that has me stumped.
PHP appears to be installed properly, and is listed as a
filetype in IIS, pointing to the PHP script processor.
However, when I try to load a page called "test.php",
I get a "page not found" response.
The file contains only HTML, no PHP. I duplicated the file
as "test.junk", and IIS reads and processes the file, as
HTML, with no problem. IIS can also open .html and .aspx

what version of python are you using?
I got the same error when invoking a customized, 2-year-old version of
distutils with
python 2.3.3 (instead of 1.5.2, as before). Reason is code in dist.py,
using dir() to
look up the attributes of a class instance. But dir() nowadays also returns
the class methods,
__doc__ etc.
Changing this in the old distutils/dist.py made it work for me, again (line

I've created a problem by not reading instruction and now I don't know what

MSDN library from book. I contacted MS Press who send them. Once

Can anyone help me with a DB2 Connect install problem? I had v8.1 installed
on a AIX server successfully a year ago. We decided to re-install it (long
story). We used SMITTY to deinstall all DB2 stuff. We deleted our DB2

try to install php 5.2 on apache 1.3 on winxp. apache is fine. php
says on start "unable to load dynamic library '<path>' " -- but <path>
*does* exist!
extension_dir ="C:\Programme\PHP\ext"
and <pathis e.g. 'C:\Programme\PHP\ext\php_exif.dll'. which *does*

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
