that are being served out through this server are working,
including sites and virtual directories that are under the
Default Web Site, yet when I attempt to browse the Default

Hello all.
I have created an httpHandler to redirect requests to some files from
other places. For this handler to be called for all files I've added
Application mapping in the IIS with Extension "*" so that request of
any file goes through aspnet_isapi.dll. Then in web.config I specify
when to call the handler. This part seem to be working ok.
The problem comes up when I specify NO file in my request. e.g. if I
browse to...

I am wrinting an application that copies a folder to a different
location. I need to change all the files that are read only to have
all privliges in the copied folder. I already figured out how to copy
the folder but I cannot figure out how to search each file to
determine if it is read only, then change it in the copied folder.
Here is my code so please help me if you can.

reappearing in "My Documents" folder after I have changed the project/
soloution paths to a different folder on a different drive?

Not sure if you'd need an activex control but I'm looking for a script to change the folder view to "Classic View" within IE.
I have an iframe that loads the users My Documents folder and would like it to display in 'Classic View' as opposed to the default 'Crap View' with the common tasks pane on the left-hand side.
I'm very retarded with JS so please understand.
Thanks

I have an Access application on a terminal server. Sometimes my users
need to export reports to pdf, rtf or xls files and save them to their
own client device hard drives.
They can do that right now the way I have this set up, but it's
confusing and slow. When they browse for a place to save the reports,
they see all of the drives on the terminal server as well as their own
client drives. So they're likely to want to choose "My...

Hi,
I'm not sure if my question is really related to JavaScript, so please excuse me if that's not the case (and maybe you guys would have an idea what's the cause is and where could I ask)...
I recently put the following script online:
<script type="text/javascript"><!--
function playmedia(mediafile) {
newwindow=window.open();
if (window.focus) {newwindow.focus()}
newwindow.document.write('<html>');

Dear reader,
Under | Tools | Options | the form Options will open.
Under the tab you find the field "Default database folder".
By opening the form this field shows on my pc I:\.
I can't close the form because then the message pups up
"MS Office Access can't change the work directory to I:\ "
If I change it to D:\ I can close the form but by opening the form
again the field is still showing I:\.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
