Change folder view to "Classic View"

1 New Member
Not sure if you'd need an activex control but I'm looking for a script to change the folder view to "Classic View" within IE.

I have an iframe that loads the users My Documents folder and would like it to display in 'Classic View' as opposed to the default 'Crap View' with the common tasks pane on the left-hand side.

I'm very retarded with JS so please understand.

Thanks

Most likely you will need an ActiveX control and use JScript/vbscript, not Javascript. Even if what you want to do is possible, it would only work in IE, and that too with security restrictions relaxed.

Is this for your own use locally? Perhaps you could ask in the Windows forum for a registry setting that could default to Classic View.

I think you would agree with me that a C compiler that directly produces Java Byte Code to be run on any JVM is something that is missing to software programmers so far. With such a tool one could stay with C and still be able to produce Java byte code for platform independent apps. Also, old programs (with some tweaking) could be re-compiled and ported to the JVM. We have been developing such a tool over the last 2 years and currently...

I've mananged to get Access Run-time working on a Win 98 PC. I was stoked at that achievement, however I'm now stuck in that the files are opening Read only. That is, I can view all the records via the two forms I need but not change anything. Why? The command line for the user to access the file is simply as follows (from advice via msdn.microsoft.com) "C:\MS Runtime\Office10\MSACCESS.EXE" "Q:\QA Records Database\Vaccine...

I am using MS Access 2003, and I typed in a query in SQL view which was working fine. Now when I open it, it gives me the error "Join expression not supported". Apparently, Access "fixed" it for me. Unfortunately, I can't correct it because when I click "OK", the window disappears. I don't see any way to open the query directly in SQL view, and both the Design and Data views exit as soon as I close the error dialog. Is there any way...

Hello All, I have a class implementing IList and a global object of this class type. I have two different form objects. One has a ListBox and the other has ComboBox. Both of their datasources are set to this global object. The problem is that when I select an item in the ListBox the combobox selecteditem changes to the same item selected in the ListBox. And the oposite is also true, so when I select an item in the ComboBox my ListBox...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
