Good morning.
I have a page displayed and want to get information from a user using
showModalDialog, and then send a request to the server for more information
based on the user info from the showModalDialog - without changing the
displayed page.
Is this possible?

is there any way to disable the controls on a form without changing their appearance? i would like to make it impossible for a user to click buttons and edit text boxes while the controls retain their normal appearance. When disabled, the text in text boxes becomes difficult to read

Help needed in order to create a register of stocks in a company. In
accordance with local laws I need to give each individual share a
number. I have accomplished this by establishing three tables (se
below) then I run a query giving me a running total, which give me the
first stock in the batch purchased by an individual, then I use this
number and add the number of shares in order to find the number of the
individuals' last share.

Hi,
Is there a way to sort a datagrid without the help of SQL server? I usually
use ADO.Net to get a dataset from SQL sever then bind it to datagrid. Now I
am asked to make datagrid support sorting, of course I can change my SQL
statements by adding order by clause for sorting purposes. But I would like
to know if there are other options.
