Hi, I am trying to customize printing for a webpage, setting the top and left margin, and cleaning the header and footer. The idea is to customize printer without user interaction, and don't using the Page Setup box. In window forms is possible using System.Drawing.Printing. But in web forms, it doesn't function.

I need to print a web page. It is my preference that my users just do a File/Print from explorer. That way my users will get the print dialog that will allow them to select the fax printer. The only problem with doing this is that a header (name of the page and Page x of x) and footer (actual page filename the date) are included. I am proficient with using Crystal Reports v10 (developers version) which will create a PDF file for you to...

I have recently constructed a website using a lot of php script (self taught). I now wonder if I should have construted the site in a different way. The page contains a header (a.php) and left column (b.php) that remain constant. Depending upon which heading is clicked in a menu row the user gets different information up in the main site area (three different versions of "c"). And a footer (d.php). What I think I have done is loading...

I have this code that switches templates depending on if the user fills in a form with a request. The request asks for the $mark & $number. If that request gets input then it displays a list otherwise it re-displays the form request. The $template variable changes the value of which template is displayed. if($mark&&$num){ $mark = $mark = strtoupper($mark); $TPL_carnumbers = GetHeaders($_SESSION); $xclheader =

You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
