We moved some pages of Japanese, Korean and Chinese from one server to
another. In doing so, the users with Windows XP could still see the
Asian fonts. However, a user with Windows 2000 could no longer see
the Asian fonts, but he could when the pages were on the other server.
Can anyone think of why a Windows 2000 user could once see Asian fonts
but cannot now?

Is it possible? I installed all the language scripts on my XP box, can see
russian chars in unicode xml file, but not chinese chars. See the same
thing in tree view as when i look at xml file in notepad.

Basically I just need to know how to output chinese characters. I am
assuming its very easy, but have never done it before. I can however do
simple things like changing the formats of currency and calendars and
so on.
I am guessing the answer is quite simple given; I assume Unicode would

Hi All,
I am having a probem with asp, xml, com while using chinese chars. The
chinese letters come out of com fine and they are also fine when i use
asp to write to a text file.
When i load the chinese chars into an xml dom they become invalid
Chinese chars show as this æˆ'çš,,模æ¿. but when i doa
xsl translation then some of the chinese chars are displayed and some
are shown as garbage chars.

articles in chinese (using MS Word), and I need to display these articles
within ASP.NET pages. And, for this very purpose I also installed a copy of
Chinese Star software in my development machine, so I can correctly renders
the doc correctly.
Ussually I just copy the text from the original DOC file they supplied, and
paste it onto a blank ASP.NET page.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
