I would like to make a page that has pictures alternating on the left and right sides of the screen and a caption below each picture. So for example, if there was a picture of a butterfly on the left side of the screen below it would be the words, "Monarch butterfly". After each picture (each of which is a different size) would be a few paragraphs and a horizontal rule. I would like the first picture (which is on the left side of the...

I've got a YES/NO section of a report I'm making. Depending on certain values, I want to circle either YES or NO. I've got the code working so it'll show or hide the circle, but I can't seem to get the circle (which I drew in Adobe Photoshop because I want the handwriting look) to be transparent (ie show the Yes or the No in the middle of it). I've tried right clicking and setting background to transparent but still no luck. The thing...

I have a site, http://www.onemorewebsite.com, that has a menu on the left side and a picture on the right side with a middle div for content in the middle. When I mouse over the menu, the picture changes. I've got that part to work. But I also want the text caption under the picture to change also. I can't figure this one out. I've spent days learning about innerHTML, textnodes, etc..but nothing works. Can anyone give me a clue? I'd sure...

I'm just trying to test something out to see if I can get it working but I'm a little stuck. I have two frames. The left one has a menu of radio buttons. I want it so when you click on the radio button it will show the picture in the right frame. When you click on a different radio button I want it to show that picture to the right of the other picture that's already there. When you click another radio button I want it to show that picture...

I'm trying to compose a list of items, each of which consists of text that wraps around a picture at the left margin. The examples I have seen tell me to do it like this: <p><img src="xxxx.jpg" align="left" width=nn height=nn>zzz zzzzz zz zzzzz...</p> In my case, since the wrapped text includes a headline, I assume I am supposed to do this:

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
