generated with Photoshop CS and uses CSS for positioning. The page validates
(unfortunately, you can't validate it from the geocities server as they paste
in a bunch of crud which hoses the validation) but the top row of buttons
(home, about etc) do not show up in IE 6, they are about 6px too far down.
I'm not really sure why this is as it looks fine in every other browser I've
tested it with (Win: Netscape/Mozilla, Firefox, Opera; Mac: Omniweb, Opera,
IE, Safari, Firefox; *nix: The KDE one, mozilla, Firefox). Can anyone shed
some light on this, it's making me nuts! Thanks.

Hello everyone,
I used absolute positioning with div tag in my website. The page looks
cool as long as someone doesn't try to zoom in by increasing the text
size (ctrl++ or thru changing font size in browser settings). When
someone does that, the layers seem to overlap and the layer with a
greater z value pops in front and the other layers are pushed back.

I am trying to re-work an old site by replacing the html with css.
On the main page, I have a logo image which I needed centred on the
initial screen. I found the solution here:

The problem is, under the image is a large table. But using the above
positioning, now the table starts at the top of the page and runs
underneath the image.

Hey i have created a footer class in a style sheet using absolute
positioning but the problem is when i shrink the browser window this
footer overlaps the main content as the windows shrinks. I have seen
on sites that if you shrink the web page,when it begins to overlap the
main content the footer won't overlap the main content.
Does anyone know how this is done as i'm ripping my hair out over it.

I just installed VS 2005. Was working with 2003 and .Net 1.1. Trying to get the feel for a master page and I'm having some issues. I'm looking for a pretty basic setup. Standard header with an image, forced to lower right of screen, in the content area. I had this working just fine in 1.1, but the tags seem to behave quite differently in 2.0.

for hours i'm searching for an solution for the following problem:
Inside a container i have some cathegories and in each of them some
questions (look at HTML),
The questions should be shown or hidden when clicking a cathegory (look
JS and CSS).
With a click on a question, it should be cloned and the clone should be
