curser location on wab page launch

1 New Member
My ISP recently updated their home page. Now when I launch, the curser starts in the Google search window instead of the address window. I then inadvertantly do a google search on the address instead of actually going where I want to go. Is there a fix I can make so that the curser always defaults in the address window when the page is launched, or am I just stuck. Thanks

Do you even need to go on the home page? Just change the home page to "about:blan k" or something else.

PS. Moved to Misc. forum. No technical questions in the Cafe please. Thanks.

Hi, I am having very strange problem, I have Dropdownlist (DDL) with callback function for SelectedIndexChanged event on asp.net page, which is populated in codebehind Page_OnLoad page. After postback of the page, througth on click event of a button on the page, and returning of the page to client side, usually selection of an item in the DDL trigers reloading of the page but not as a postback. Afterwads if you select another item in...

Hi guys A have an ASPX page (a main menu) and from it I need to launch existing exes on the local PC that has invoked the page from IE. I know .NET has the Process object, can I use this to launch a process on the client side? If so how to I tell .NET that I want the process launched n the client side rather than...

Hello all, I want to create a page with an image and when the cursor is moving over the image (e.g. over text on the image the text is highlighted or changes color or something similar. So that the user can see what he would pick (= what link he would follow when he picks that text/item I am not sure if this explanantion is understandable. Maybe like a map of the world and if you move the mouse over a country e.g. france the name of...

Applications developed using Framework 2.0 and installed on a network location take a considerable amount of time to launch. This was never the case with prior Framework versions. For example, an application can take almost a minute just to display the Splash screen. Not an issue when executable is stored on the local machine, but due to the number of users we like to install all of our applications on the network. Any ideas or...

Hi there, I'm very new to activex controls and c# programming. I'm writing a c# application and I want it to be invoked when my users click a button on a web page. Its an application with a GUI so the app would come up and be running independent of the web browser (i.e. not embeded in it). Also note, that this application is one that is already installed

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
