I am trying to learn PHP and was reading the book by Laura Welling and
Luke Thompson. Obviously, PHP is already installed on a server when
hosted by an ISP already. Is there a way to just download PHP 5 onto my
laptop as well as MYSQL and practice learning it with coding and
scripts, etc.? I don't have another machine to install Apache or IIS.

Ok something simple like int.Parse(string) can throw these exceptions:
ArgumentNullException, FormatException, OverflowException
I don't want my program to just crash on an exception, so I must
handle all of them. I don't care about which one happened, except to
write out exception.Message to a log file. It seems verbose to write

So, to increase efficiency, and to get away from my old poorly lit laptop monitor (LT) I purchased a very nice LG 23' LCD. The screen is nice.. and I am happy with it except for one thing:
I am unable to set it as the primary display in duelview (which is kind of important)
In a word it is confounding.
