I had installed a Visual Studio.Net trial version including Frameworks
1.1.
Can I update to Frameworks 2.0 so I can install Microsoft SQL 2005
Server Express Edition or should I keep 1.1 and Install SQL Server 2000
Evaluation Edition Release A + Sp3?
Best regards
Malm

Sorry for the advertisement but I think this is something that people could
actually use.
I am creating a new product called Simple Load Testing and I thought I would
see if anyone would be interested in giving it a try in it's beta stage.
Keep in mind that it is still in the beta stages so there will be bugs - but
so far it seems to be stable in the testing that I have done. There are no
licenses or limitations in the beta version so...

Are there any preferred methods on :
1. asking a user to register your app
2. giving them the ability to register online and creating a serial number
2. stop the apps usage after a set period of time if they don't register.
There used to be an application TrueLockXP that you could add to your
application but that application is not longer supported.
Does anyone know any other app that can do this or have any guidelines for
how to...

I have a simple question...Is the visual studio 2005 trial edition that may
be ordered (that is currently on backorder) simply the beta 2 release? Or is
there any other changes that were made.
The reason that I ask is that all of the order confirmations state "beta 2"
and "visual 2005 trial edition" within the same respective email.
Thanks,
Tim

I have been working on an all AJAX/DOM web site which is set to go live today and I thought I'd share my discoveries with all of you whom have helped me when I have encountered different issues along the way.
First, deep linking is not something that a completely AJAX web site should be able to do by it's very nature of everything being on one page basically. So how can a person deep link to something that is on one page?
This question...

transfer to the full version. I have made backups of all the files I want to

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
