ASP.NET blog engine

I'm looking to run a new blog for my site.

I've tried dottext, but the setupud I have for my site really didn't work
for .Text.

I can't use MT because i'm running on a Windows box with no CGI / PHP
support.

Searching for them just returns peoples blogs, and not the engine used haha.

Any help would be awesome!

If you'd like source as well, and are interested in tailoring the app,
you could do worse than starting with the sample on MSDN:

What about dasBlog -- it has a Workspace on www.gotdotnet.com? It
doesn't require a database, which is perfect for many low-end ASP.NET
hosting offers.

Cheers.

So I'm creating a blog engine for someone and am curious how to go about creating the count (if any) of the comments for a particular post. Underneath each post the user will have name of the poster, date, time, and an option for replying (commenting). I would like to create a count of replies so that it is displayed. I have a dbBlog (Access) and a table for the entries and a table for comments. They are tied together with primary key...

I used WordPress for a prior blog, but now have my website on ASP.Net 2.0 using MS SQL Server. I'd like to actually have an equivalent blog (easy to set up, easy to add entries to for the family). Does anyone have recommendations on an equivalent package that they like? Thanks. Tim

Hi all I want to move my blog away from blogspot. <Rant part, skip if you don't care:-) I find it annoying because 01: I have to enter a stupid code to post a new entry. Put it on comments, sure, but on new blog entries too? If I were just spamming my own blog then nobody would read it anyway!

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
