Dear Members
I'm new here. Please permit me to ask some newbie question
I'm from a non-profit organization, working for gender equality. We wish
to get a small message across to sister blogs (blogs with a common
thread, purpose)
*I am SERIOUSLY AGAINST SPAM of any kind*
I'm using Win XPP
I am looking at a software to post comments to blogs
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Let's say I search for key words using google's blog search and I get
some 10 blogs
- I feed these URL into this software - even better if this software
will pickup these blog URL from google / search engine search pages
- Software should open the comment pages of these blogs +
paste the comment file into these blogs (the comments could be part of a
file or could be copied into memory using control + c ... etc.)
- then we move on the the next and so on
- I'm also ready to log into some (10 or so ) popular blog sites so that
the cookies for posting are open
- Manual intervention
------------------------------
required manual inputs from me to answer word recognition etc. will be
done by me
*There can be limits on the max post per session / day* to avoid spam
...... any suggestions ??
Thanks in advance
and
Regards

maybe you could use RSS instead?
Bye.

Hello,
You say that you are against SPAM,
but anyway, what you describe here IS SPAM.
The definition of SPAM is a "Non solicited e-mail, message".
No matter if what you do is non-profit or not.
Comments on blogs are here to get feedback
from visitors about a particular post.
Not to be crawled by a robot who thinks
that your blog matches some criteria and that
you should look at this product or this association.
I encourage you to use other way of communication
to promote your association. Be aware that many people
on the Websphere belong to the early web generation and
are very aware of the Netiquette and the problem
of spams.
They are deeply concerned by the respect of these rules, and you
may start with a bad image by doing so.

Then you should practice what you preach.
Spamming does not cease to be spamming just because the writer claims
that it is not.

Folks:
I need to find a blog software that requires users to login before they
view the blog. It would be real handy if this feature was rolled into
the program so it could be turned on or off -
Apache/php/mysgl/linux based a real plus!
Thanks -

I did it.
I proposed python as the main language for our next CAD/CAM
software because I think that it has all the potential needed
for it. I'm not sure yet if the decision will get through, but
something I'll need in this case is some experience-based set
of rules about how to use python in this context.
For example... is defining readonly attributes in classes
worth the hassle ? Does duck-typing scale well in complex

A friend wants me to set him up with a "blog". I could create a
database-driven site using ASP.net and a few forms but I gather there are
tools for just this job. Any recommendations? Nothing fancy, and a
mainstream product would be preferred.

Hi all,
I found this text at a blog:
Well, one day I tried to come to my blog and found myself redirected
to www.blogger.com, and try as I might, I couldn't get to my blog!
I thought about it for a while, and wondered if someone had put a
redirect in the comments, so I removed the comments, and found I
could get to it.

Hi!
I have a blog made with b2evo, but I'd want to migrate to another
software. I need this feature: different user levels, and each level
see only the posts intended for them. I'd want to be able to do posts
for everyone, posts for customers, posts for friends and posts for
close friends.
The user levels deployed in b2evo and Wordpress seem only to limit
editing and blogging, but not readability of the posts (actually, in

Software Needs Philosophers

Software needs philosophers.
This thought has been nagging at me for a year now, and recently it's
been growing like a tumor. One that plenty of folks on the 'net would
love to see kill me.

I am looking for a simple php blog to modify. I been have looking
around at different open source blogs like Wordpress but that are too
complicated for my needs.
Basically I just want posts, comments, users and tags. If supported
multiple blogs that would great but I can add that.
Really the simplier the better.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
