news:d3******** **@sparta.btint ernet.com...A friend wants me to set him up with a "blog". I could create a
database-driven site using ASP.net and a few forms but I gather there are
tools for just this job. Any recommendations ? Nothing fancy, and a
mainstream product would be preferred.
One further reflection - he wants to integrate it with his home page
(currently pleasantly uncomplicated). Does that make a difference?
If his ISP doesn't offer the server side services required to do a Blog,
yes, it means he has to find a web server that does and move. He'll
also have to learn how to code and debug php.
His life, after that, will be forever changed and he will put aside
childish things...
