Hi Presto731. Linq has pointed you to the format property which allows you to force upper case, and you would be wise to follow his advice.

Formatting separates how values are presented from how they are stored. You do not need to convert text to upper case to display it that way.

If you need to refer to text in capitals for specific purposes you can always use a calculated field in a query with the Ucase function to do the conversion. This will not help you on your form (where you need to have bound fields, not calculated ones) and in any event it is not simpler.

For your forms, set the format property to uppercase using the very simple format code > as Linq said.

I have a form which people use to register in a database. The form passes the input data to an asp page that then updates the database. The thing is, people often don't bother starting their firstname & surname with a capital letter on the form. When this data is dispalyed on other pages it would look so much better if they did. Does anybody know a way of manipulating the input so that I can substitute the first letter of an input...

I have also set the font on some of my worksheets to Perpetua Titling MT, which works well except that the font is a little funky. For some reason, on my...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
