Set all font to capital letters

8 New Member
I am trying to set certain cells to capitalize any input whethere they have the caps lock on or not. I have toyed with "Private Sub Workbook_SheetC hange" to turn all changes into an object with capital letters, but I am afraid if anyone ever removed the protection, that could be dangerous. I have also set the font on some of my worksheets to Perpetua Titling MT, which works well except that the font is a little funky. For some reason, on my summary page, setting that font on cells has no effect and the font still shows as Arial. Does anyone have any suggestions of how to safely make these cells show caps only safely?

Tell me whether you are trying to display the fields in textboxes or in labels or in DataGrid.
If datagrid then i ll search for you more instead otherwise use Ucase( ) command.

Ok
I have an idea. Tell me that r u updating record directly from dgrid or using textboxes.
textboxes is the good & secure way to update record.
use UCase() for textboxes for uppercase then dgrid is always updated with ucase.
I ll made up an example for u jusst wait for some minutes.

Hello, I just joined this group and saw the discussion "What do you think of resizing 1em to 10px?" I am somewhat confused by what y'all think should be used as a reference size. I was surprised that someone actually suggested ems as a reference. Ems are relative to a selected point size, the width in points of a capital M. If no point size...

Now and again I like to start a sentence with a large capital, maybe in a different font. This upsets the line spacing and I've failed to find any css that will effectively crop the capital letter from the bottom, to allow the line spacing of the following smaller font text to remain unaffected. I've always had to resort to a graphic for the...

There is a page that shows Firefox 1.0 render text differently for CSS as compared to FONT FACE for one particular font: http://www.aczoom.com/fonts/xdvng.ttf is the font that does not work. http://www.aczoom.com/isongs/0/t_ff.html is the test page - that has shows the line "This is using CSS to specify xdvng:" show up with the default...

I am currently designing a .NET system that takes a piece of text from a SQL Server database (this is variable), writes it to an excel spreedsheet in a cell of known length and height (in centimetres so that it is always printed in exactly the same dimensions) using the Arial font. Knowing the cell size, I need to calculate the font size...

At http://tides.org the (all caps) font on the top-row links on the various horizontally mounted dropdown menus appear abnormally tall and narrow to me. How do you do this? line height (http://wage.cns.montana.edu/goo.html, for instance) seems to do nothing to the actual font.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...
