.. I am trying to create a database in a MS Access DB via JDBC drivers.
I have tried both sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver and ids.sql.IDSDriver
From some reason both drivers Exceptions tell me 'Syntax error in
CREATE TABLE statement' even though I am not creating a table, but a

Hi.
I have a client who has been running my Access 2000 system for a while now
(about a year and a half) and is suddenly encountering lots of problems...
as in misc. fatal errors that shut the database down.
Hard drive space looks good (I think): about 3 GB of about 8 GB free
RAM: 316 MB
O/S: Win XP Home Edition SR-1

I copied the following code snippet from A97 HELP. Am
getting an error at compile time suggesting there's a problem
with the first line (compile error, user-defined type not defined).
It is likely that I've left something out. Doesn't seem to like Dim
dbs as Database - that's what's hi-lited after acknowledging the
error. Can you see anything wrong with that syntax?

upgrading to Windows Server 2003 and wants to upgrade Office and SQL Server
at the same time. We're moving to SQL Server 2005, and, since he already has

of my company's Access-VBA application. I know VBA pretty well but

Map, File Maker, Paradox, etc.) for preparing a file for trial or large
mediation???
My firm is weighing the pros and cons of each program to see which

(external links) to run some reports. The coding in any of the 4 is
pretty simple.
Recently when we make a new .mde for the "main" database, the first
time we run our reports (all executed from code from a form), we get a

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
