I've managed to get access to my computer through a web url provioded by windows in there "Activate Windows" page. Basicly i can run explorer.exe and windows is back to normal, but with the "Activate Windows" page sitting in the back round, Something is closing my explorer.exe about 5-20 seconds after i open it.. I am looking for some kind of tool or command that can delay a service on windows startup. Basically, I have another service that needs to finish loading first before this one can be started. The delay should be around 5 minutes. It has to be without a user logging on. Any ideas?

hello, This is a problem i have to handle in code migration from linux to windows.In linux when you set SEM_UNDO,the semaphore could be released automatically even if the process exit prior to a release.but windows' semaphore seems to have no functionalities like this. We have a AD running on win2k3. We have many shared folders. Ive noticed that once in a while users will call up and report the folders missing. To fix the issue i would reboot the system. And vola files visable to all users. Just recently i found another soloution and that was to disconnect all users on the shared folders in my admin panel....
