I have a server running NT 4 Server that is on my local domain that
hosts an ASP application. I have a problem: when I try to test the
ASP application from a computer on the same domain running IE6 on
Windows 2000, the browser will not store the session key. Computers
running other versions of Internet Explorer store the session key.
When I host the application on a Windows 2000 server also on the local
domain, the same test computer...

I maintain a small web page for internal company use. People access it
by typing "library" in their browser address bar; this defaults to
"http://library" which the network admin magically redirects to my page.
Lately some other departments have been creating their own web pages and I
have added links to them. The pages are on the same server, but different
folders (traversing the root folder). These bright young people have
introduced...

I have an application which I developed in C# ASP.NET. It uses SQL Server
which is on a Virtual PC using Virtual PC 2004. It works great, no
problems.
I moved the user controls, aspx files, dll, and other important files to
Windows 2003 Server, then I created a virtual directory in IIS. When I view
the site, I get an error message saying trust levels won't allow debug mode.
So i modified the web.config and set debug = "false". Then I...

I did lot of googling to see if I can solve the SQL server not found
problem while trying to run ASP.Net community starter kit from an XP

I have two different servers, a test server and a live server. My IT Manager
ran windows update on the live server and now none of my ASP.NET Button
Server controls work. The test server works flawlessly, but two seperate
applications on the live server are no longer working. However, I have some
field validators that work when the button is clicked, but the page will not
do a post back. Any ideas why this might be occuring?
Thanks!

I had a call from a client yesterday. She reports that when attempting
to connect to a AC2002 mdb backend on a remotely shared pc (mapped
locally as \\Server\Users) she suddenly began receiving the error
described in KB810582.

FAQ Topic - How do I prompt a "Save As" dialog for an
accepted mime type?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
It is not possible with client-side JavaScript.
Some browsers accept the Content-Disposition header, but this
must be added by the server. Taking the form:-
` Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=filename.ext `

I have a test network consisting of four servers running windows 2003 server R2 SP2. I have set up a domain which functioned correctly for about a day and a half until the other servers decided they can no longer connect to the domain controller. Ping resolves the domain controllers name to the correct ip nslookup finds the ip but can not resolve the name.
When I attempt to log on to a machine on the domain it takes around twenty minutes...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
