When i open a form in Access 2007, it says File not found.

1 New Member
I have created a Access2007 database. and imported old data from 2002 version.

Sometimes, after I export a report, or edit a form,
and then when I open a form, it says ; File not found.

I am a newbie -- just finished one course in Access 2003, so I know enough to be dangerous. During the past few months I created a database for my business and had been using it quite satisfactorily until yesterday when it failed to open! I am distraught. My most recent backup in two days older than the version that will not open and I hate the thought of picking through and trying to update the backup with two days worth of data. I...

I recently made the switch from Access 2003 to Access 2007. The rest of our office is still operating on 2003, so the database is still a 2003 file. We're having trouble with a few forms that work fine when I open them on the 2003 computers, but not on mine (2007 version). For example. I have a form that is a simple form linked to a solicitation table. It has a combo box that allows the user to select the solicitation they want to look at....

Hi all, I had a database with 3 tables (no queries) in an Access 2007 file. I converted the file to Access 2000 format, as that is the only Access format recognized by the SQL server we have here. Some sql queries gave weird results, so I went back to the original files. To my surprise, I noticed that the Access 2000 version of the file was trimmed: one table had been "shrunk" from half a million records to

Hi there, I recently updated to Access 2007, and I'm getting a couple of errors that i'm not sure how to deal with. I worked with a lot of databases in Access 2003 (.mdb), and for some reason some of these databases will not open in access 2007. The errors I get say: "An error occured while loading 'Form_frm_tabstrip'. do you want to continue loading the project?" I can choose yes, no or help. On choosing yes, another message box...

Am trying to customise automation in Access 2007/Outlook. Using MS template which works ok. However, I have the form set up as a subform an embedded in the main form Although the form works fine in isolation, it does not display its command button when viewed with main form. I am fairly new to this stuff so clearly have done something stupid. In addition, I want to be able to use the check box so that I don't have to add every entry to...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
