I am using VB6 SP6. I have an application that prints charts. Specifically,
it prints line charts of plant process information nightly. The code is a
mix of API calls and Printer methods. I am currently migrating to a new PC
running XP. The charting application is hanging on a single line of code:
Printer.Orientation = vbPRORLandscape
It throws an error '484', "Problem getting information from the printer.

My Access 2000 code has been running for several years in our main
plant. Now we need to install it, as a stand-along application, at

Folks,
How can I get the default printer (not just its name - the "whole"
thing), and change its paper orientation to landscape?
I'm trying to print a hosted HTML document (inside a web browser
control), and I can't seem to find a way to make sure the bloody thing
prints in landscape.......
Any pointers welcome!!

Hi all!
I have a subroutine that prints reports on a specific printer. The code
works fine as long as all the printers available to the computer are on
the network. However, if the computer also has a local printer, the
report is prints locally. What I'm I doing wrong! The complete

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
