hi,
i am using window.print to print some details that are fetched on to an ASPX
page.
since its a long list, it should be printed in Landscape. when window.print
command is executed, a printer settings dailogue box is appeared and need to
set the orientation to landscape.
I need to give my user a facility to print it in Landscape orientation
automatically.
How to setup landscape for the orientation in printer settings through the

Hi,
I'm trying to customize print settings while streaming HTML content into
Excel. I'm using ASP.NET 1.1 and Excel 2003.
While some printer settings like Margins are working correctly, I cannot
change the Page Orientation to Landscape: mso-page-orientation:landscape;.
I tried to produce the Excel Page, save it as HTML, open in text editor and
then copy and paste Excel generated settings. But it did not help.
If anybody resolved this...

and discovered some unexpected database bloat. Simply assigning the
same value to a property of a report's Printer object will cause the

I am using the PrtDevMode property of a report open in design view to
try and flip the orientation of the report between Portrait and
Landscape in a user control box before the report is opened. I pretty
much used the example out of the help verbatim and Im not having any
luck with it working. I thought originally that because some of my
controls (Lines) extended to the right margin of the report (designed

I am using a 3rd party control that has a print function. But it doesn't
provide any way that we can
change some of the printer setting in design time. (It will popup the print
dialog in runtime)
What I need to do is to change the default orientation of the printing.
I want to preform a hack to set the orientation of the global printer object
(whatever it's name in C#) before I call the print
method of the 3rd party contorl.

When i right click on the .rpt file in the VS 2003, i see a property
printer setting.
It says "No printer" on the top and there is option to select printer
and paper settings etc..
I want to know how will this affect a report rendered by a crystal
viewer.
I have a web page with a crystal viewer rendering the report on the
page.

Hi everybody,
sorry for my English first of all.
I've an ASP page (ASP 3.0) used on an intranet which fill up some particular
Mail sheets getting data from a database.
Those pre-compiled sheets are then showed in IE 6 for checking and then have
to be printed.
To correct printing the sheets I have to change the print margins and paper
orientation from IE 6 settings.
Reading around it looks like I can't change IE 6 print settings without

Hi i wrote code to print records off a datagrid.the code works on all but one of my data grids. The problem is that loop continues without stopping, Causing the program to crash.
The only diff between all of the grids is the query and the widows form it is on.
I basicly just copied the form changing the SQL for the datasource.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
