I have an interactive mapping website where there is a main map image. For
the map image, I over-rode the default right click menu to provide a popup
menu for mapping tools. Now my client has asked me to have the option to
save the image. I guess I should have seen this coming. On the browser
default right click menu there is a "Save Picture As..." option.

How do I create a .MDE from a .MDB, in an automated way?
I.e. I want to compile a series of files, created on A97 onto A2000.
Converting to the A2000 version, that's a command line option,
but there is no such option to create a .MDE out of the .MDB and
I can't find vb-code that can do it; although the option is on the menu,
it is not in docmd.runcommand...
Any hints?

There is one more problem I am facing but didn't get the solution. In my
Setup Program I am not been able to create 2 things (when the program is
intalled on the client machine ) : (1) create shortcut to my program/utility
(2) Entry in Windows' Start --> Program Menu.
Actually in my VB.Net solution I have two projects (1) MYPROGRAM (2)
MYPROGRAM_INSTALLER. MYPROGRAM is a "Windows Application".
MYPROGRAM_INSTALLER is a "SetUp Wizard"...

I have an application with MDIchildren... you have have several windows open
at the same time and when I choose "Save" from the Parent Window
(MDIContainer) I save the ActiveMDIChild.
BUt.. I also have other windows that are MDI Children, like Settings and
Administration forms.. and when they are active I dont't want the save
option in the Menu of the parent form to be enabled anymore...
where do I trigger this and how do I do this?

I'd appreciate some help on creating a tear off menu with TkInter. I've
been reading some documentation but still no luck.
Please don't get confused: when I mean "tear off" menu I don't mean a
drop-down or a pop-up menu, but those options which yield to another
batch of sub-options when scrolled over, (as for example, the File->New
option from internet explorer).

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
