Can someone help me figure out a way to open a form only once in an MDI app.
I have an MDI app that contains several forms. I use each form depending on
the type of document that the user needs to see, i.e. for documents of type
A, I use form A, for type B, form B, etc. Each document has a unique number.
I need the app to only show one document at a time, i.e. ifthe user tries to
open doc. 1 of type A, then open form A and load doc 1....

Hello there,
I have a front end database that I have recently made very many changes
to to allow off-line use. I keep copies of the databases on my hard
drive and link to them rather than the live databases on the network.
Is there a way, via code, when I get back in-house from being on the
road to click a button, and select the backends I want to link to?
I would want to delete all the current links and link to the "live"

hi, i have a few forms in my project. when i load form1 (startup for) all is
fine, then i open another one and use a login screen to call yet another and
all is still fine, but then when i try to open another form from a 3rd form,
it gives this error on form1
"An unhandled exception of type 'System.NullReferenceException' occurred in
Unknown Module.
Additional information: Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

I have created a Button, and set it's "On Click" Event proceedure to
Loop through my Database and find any records that fall within a
Certain Date...if a record is found...it then emails me that a record

I currently HAVE a form...a "Summary List" it could be called...which
is
a contineous form...AND on this form are "Four fields" from EVERY
record (each on their own line) so to seak...like a running summary of
ALL the Records in the Database!
NOW upon clicking "one" of these lines...it then opens that specific
Record in the Database...which is linked through and by a "Record ID"!
The "four fields" that are exhibited in this contineous...

Hi,
I want to write a simple .net program to open a URL, fill in fields, and
click on a button to submit it using .net 1.1 framework.
Can someone help in suggesting the libraries I should use?
I tried using javascript, however, I am not able to make javascript wait for
the page to completely load, before trying to access and fill fields on the
page. Hence resorted to .net, but not finding the right library to use.

Hello,
Any advice on the attached would be greatly appreciated.
I am currently customising someone elses database and have the following problem.
A date is updated on a form, in database 1. This then updates a linked table in database 2.
Database 1 then runs a macro in database 2 and produces output dependant upon the data that is held in the linked table. (ie the date)
