Not quite sure of your question here.

Are you saying that you are trying to put a box onto a design (if so, click on the box and drag to the window). If you want to click on the box to change the mouse movement, that is something different.

Could you please clarify the question?

I have a MSDN Subscription expiring this month but really need Visual Studio 2008 when it comes out. I called customer service to find out but they don't know. They seemed to think it was a possibility but couldn't say for sure. Does anyone know if Visual Studio 2008 will come with the MSDN subscription or would it be better to let the subscription expire and buy Visual Studio 2008 when it comes out? Seems like the type of question that...

Apparently the Java Conversion tool that used to be in Visual Studio 2005 is no longer supported in Visual Studio 2008. Anyone have any suggestions on how to convert a Java program to C# in Visual Studio 2008?

1. Why does Visual Studio 2008 started ignoring //{NO_DEPENDENCIES} in resource.h? If I edit file "resource.h" _manually_, it rebuilds the whole solution. It worked just fine with Visual Studio 2005. 2. Why does Visual Studio 2008 not allow having two resource files (that use the same "resoure.h") open at the same time, when they are in different projects of the same solution (localization resource-only dll projects?) It worked just fine...

VS 2008 initially didn't debug classic ASP. SP1 fixes this in some ways. You can debug if you select the debug option to "Start Without Debugging, then either attach the debugger manually or place a stop directive in the code which ends up doing the same thing. The problem with this is that you can't debug browser side Javascript in the same debug run. You get a "The breakpoint will not currently be hit. The document is not loaded." if...

I created all my business components and data access classes using web service software factory. I am getting a Visual studio 2008 IDE application R6034 runtime error. This means that the IDE application is raising the error not the application I am building. This means that Microsoft did not follow its own advice as listed in http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms235560(VS.80).aspx and "build with a manifest". The DLL in question seems to be msvcr8.0.dll which is the VS2005 C runtime DLL. I am not sure why this is an issue in a...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
