Where is code snippet manager?

In Vs2005 I don't see the code snippet manager item in the tools menu.

How can I get it to show?

Thanks for any help.

Which version of VS2005 do you have?
Also, try Ctrl-K, followed by Ctrl-B

Can anyone tell me how you can get the Snippets found in the Code Snippet Manager, to show up in my toolbox? Add/Import asks me for a directory name, and I'm not sure what to do. Microsoft, wouldn't it be great if we could click on "Add" or "Import" and it would actually add or import it? Thanks in advance.

I am interested in learning how to use the VS 2005 code snippets. However, I wish to know what are the best ways to source control the code snippets? Are there any source safe/subversion add-ons for this purpose? If not, any urls which demonstrates code snippets management?

Under the tools menu I see a menu for "Code Snippets Manager" I open and see some wonderful stuff but how do you use it? Example, if I choose "File System" and then choose "Create a folder" it does nothing. I would expect to see some code on how to create a folder but all I see is a description a shortcut and an author, no code snippet? -Lou

I'm attempting to supplement the help for my code by providing other developers with code snippets that demonstrate how to use my classes/method. I've created a .snippet file and have placed it in the "<Visual Studio Folder>\Code Snippets\Visual Basic\My Snippets" folder. I've used the Code Snippets Manager and ensured that it included this folder so that I can access the snippets. Everything works well when I have 1 <CodeSnippet> tag...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
