Visual Studio 2005 - Code Snippet Manager missing

Hello,

I went to the Tools menu and looked for the Code Snippet Manager, but it was
not there. How do I go about adding it to my menu?

Thanks in advance,

Hi,

Thank you for your post.

The Code Snippet Manager should be available for all editions of Visual
Studio 2005 (see http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/products/compare/ for a
more info). So I would suggest you reset your menu items to see if it works:

1) Right-click on the menu bar and select the last command "Customize. .."
2) In the Toolsbars list, select "Menu Bar" and click "Reset..." button

Hope this helps. Please feel free to post here if this doesn't work.

Regards,

Add the command by selecting menu Tools -> Customize, select the Commands Tab, select the Tools Menu, and drag the Code Snippets Manager onto any commandbar that you like e.g. back where it was on the tools menu.

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
