How can the toolbar and menubar be hidden in IE?
When opening the window via javascript I can specify
'toolbar=no,menubar=no', which works fine.
However if the window already exists how can I remove them? If the browser
is Netscape I can use javascript:
window.toolbar.visible = false;
window.menubar.visible = false;
but IE produces the error:
"'window.toolbar.visible' is null or not an object".

I have designed my website to fit my standard windows.
I use a javascript scroller that nescitates the removal of the browser
scroll bars. However if a user has an extra toolbar open in his browser
like a google or yahoo toolbar or a links toolbar it pushes the content down
and slightly out of view. I don't want to use a pop up window with
toolbars=0 as this is often blocked by software. What I would like is to

Hello,
I need to remove toolbar and menubar from my current window (not opened
with window.open, it would be too easy!!!).
I've tried to use the window.toolbar.visible=false property,
but it has no effect.
No error message in the javascript console, nor any effect on the
current window.
I've tried Firefox and IE, same effect....
What should I do

provided at http://www.codeproject.com/csharp/dotnetbandobjects.asp and the
msdn article "Creating Custom Explorer Bars, Tool Bands, and Desk Bands". I
have followed the instructions and installed the samplebar.dll and the
bandobjectslib.dll into the GAC using gacutil as well as performed a regasm
on the samplebar.dll. After doing these things I do see the menu items...

I have made a toolbar for Internet Explorer using C# and COM interop.
I would like to be able to show a drop-down window appearing to come

This obviously shows up as input tags in the generated page. When I was
looking at the page with the free Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar
utility, it showed me the id, type, and name attributes, but not the value

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
