How can the toolbar and menubar be hidden in IE?
When opening the window via javascript I can specify
'toolbar=no,menubar=no', which works fine.
However if the window already exists how can I remove them? If the browser
is Netscape I can use javascript:
window.toolbar.visible = false;
window.menubar.visible = false;
but IE produces the error:
"'window.toolbar.visible' is null or not an object".

Hi
I have designed my website to fit my standard windows.
I use a javascript scroller that nescitates the removal of the browser
scroll bars. However if a user has an extra toolbar open in his browser
like a google or yahoo toolbar or a links toolbar it pushes the content down
and slightly out of view. I don't want to use a pop up window with
toolbars=0 as this is often blocked by software. What I would like is to
open the...

Recently, I downloaded the following beautiful script
"http://javascript.internet.com/navigation/toolbar-menu.html". It
works like a charm. I made my webpage in frames, where the nav-frame
shows the menubar, so whenever I click a link in the menubar, it opens
in the frame below. But...

Dear reader,
In an attempt to obtain the path to the quick-launch-folder in order to
create a shortcut to my application-updates during installation , I thought
to:
1- check if quick launch is used by the user
2- check if a link to my application is there
3- if so, obtain the path (ANY PATH) to the quick-launch-folder from
existing button(s)

Hello everyone,
I am creating a toolbar for an application. The buttons contains images
and text. I set the wrappable property for the toolbar to false so the
toolbar does not add another line when resize. In this case, when I
resize the form the buttons on the toolbar get cut off. Is there a
built in property to add ">>" at the end of toolbar to show the rest of
the buttons?

Good day group,
I have made a toolbar for Internet Explorer using C# and COM interop.
I would like to be able to show a drop-down window appearing to come
down from beneath the toolbar area, but I don't know how to determine
the exact coordinates to use.
My base class contains a reference to the WebBrowserClass, and I can
get the coordinates of the main window, so my problem is that I am
unable to determine how many toolbars are...

I have a page that I created with ASP.NET which contains a RadioButtonList.
This obviously shows up as input tags in the generated page. When I was
looking at the page with the free Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar
utility, it showed me the id, type, and name attributes, but not the value
attribute. Even if I select the "Show Read-Only Properties" option, it does
not show me the value attribute. I know it is in the generated code,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
