I'm trying to create a thread to write to the serial port and I keep
getting an odd error
cannot convert parameter 3 from 'unsigned long (void *)' to 'unsigned
long (__stdcall *)(void *)'
and it points to the CreateThread call. Here is my class, why is it
doing this and how can I fix it?

I'm writing a code to send/receive udp packet. I'll receive ip address
from user (this is the starting ip), then I'll ask user how many ip he
wants to connect to. For examples:
Please enter 1st ip: 192.168.0.1
How many ip do you want to connect to: 10

Below you'll find the code i'm working on.
It's in a button click routine and hangs after 3 or 4 sometimes 5 loops
done, probably in sock.receive(....).
Some code was found here( on google i mean) but the amazing( at least for
me) is that if i run the program step by step or i cancel the loop and run
it by pressing the button again and again it never hangs .

When running a program in the debugger, what would cause it to crash without
any error messages? I get "The program has exited with code 0 (0x0)".
The program is a MDI app with threading for several serial ports. It only
crashes when data is being received on one or more of the serial ports.
Could someone please give me some ideas about what would cause a program to
terminate in this way?

Hello!
Someone knows how I can solve it: I've installed my program in administrator
account for all users. But i've tried to run in guest account, my program
returned fatal error, and it didn't open... In the administrator account
works very well!
