I want to embed the framework setup with my project setup. Does any body
know where in the (Visual Studio .net) Setup-Project I can set the option to
install the framework first?
Thank you

:I Created a Pocket PC application for iPAQ 5450. Every thing went fine even
installer creation. I could run the setup and install it into the actual
device and worked fine. The application enables syncronization with remote
database using merge replication.
I found contradictory results while installing the application. I will
mention here...

In my solution's Setup project, I'm adding a folder to the user's
Start Menu, and putting a couple of shortcuts in it. When I use
Add/Remove Programs to uninstall the application, the shortcuts are
deleted, but the folder stays there. Any thoughts on how I can cause
the folder to be deleted as well? Thanks.

I am working on an application in VS2008. I have set the target
framework to 2.0. I distributed the app to a coworker in MSI format.
When he tried to install it, he was told that he needed to install the
3.5 framework. I am wondering, when I created the project, I didn't
even notice the dropdown in the create project dialog to select the...

The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not.
