Scrolling a treeview

Tom
I am implementing drag and drop in a treeview. How do I get the treeview to automatically scroll when the mouse carrying the node I am dragging reaches the top or bottom of the treeview?

Ok, I gave up on using the text area and am now trying a DIV with the AutoScroll on. Can JavaScript tell this to scroll to the end? I've put an ASP.NET literal in the DIV to display my text. Rob

Using VS 2003, VB.NET: Have a TreeView filled with TreeNodes. Initially when my app starts up the TreeView is getting a horizontial slider. The problem is that the slide is full right... I want it to be full left. The only way I see how to control the scrolling on the TreeView is the "EnsureVisible" property and in this case its not helping. Any ideas on how to programatically set the horizontal scroll to be full left? Thanks in advance...

So many postings on not to use the treeview control, but nothing recently. Is it safe to swim there yet with Access 2000-Access 2003?

Is anyone aware of any issues with Drag and Drop in a treeview having trouble scrolling past the top/bottom? For this particular control, scrolling down works about 50% of the time and is pretty sensitve (the mouse has to be just so). Scrolling up doesn't work at all. I have tried docking it on a panel and giving the panel a nice thick dock padding to help separate it from other controls on the dialog and it doesn't seem to help.

The treeview has this habit of scrolling when you change the tree's selection so that the selected item is visible. 9 times out of 10 this is the behavior that you'd want, but what do I do to prevent the tree view from scrolling when making a selection? Is there a flag I can pass in with the selection change message? Is there a notification that I can grab and block? Thanks

If I have a Listview (in report mode) and theres several hundred items in it, is there any way programatically, to automatically scroll to the last item...Eg. the same thing that would happen if you were to click the list to give it focus, and then press the END key. I think I could do it by Selecting the last Item, but I'd rather not unselect anything the user had selected...I have multiselect FALSE Also, another question about...

Hello, I knew how to use the treeview under VB6. After migrating to .NET, well, I'm lost. I try to add a new node, either to the same level or as a child to a selected node in the treeview. However, either it only add it to the root level or it only add it on level below, doesn't matter what I select. And in some case, I just get an exception.

Hello, I am currently using Visual Studio 2005 for a project and I am attempting to employing the new treeview control using VB.net. I have placed the treeview on top of a panel and have enabled vertical scrolling on the panel. The problem is that when I scroll down towards the bottom of the treeview and click on one of the nodes the scroll bar jumps back to the top. Is there anyway to keep the vertical scroll bar in the same position...

I have been beating my head against a wall trying to get my treeview to return to the same scrolled to location after a postback. I have used the following javascript to set the scroll for a div section with no luck. The js runs, returns a valid current scroll value, but the scrollTop stays at 0. var scrollel=document.getElementById("divAdmFeedTree"); if(scrollel!=null) {

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
