Hello,
I am trying to make a toolbar at the bottom of my pocket pc app with
'New', 'Open', 'Delete', etc. icons on the buttons. I'm pretty sure
that there are some standard system icons in VB.NET, but I have not
been able to find them.
Any Suggestions on how to add these images, if they exist, to my
toolbar buttons?
Thanks,
Lindsay

If you checked the option in setup, a set of icons will be installed
into a folder with name "GRAPHICS" in your VS.NET installation folder
(or one of its subdirectories) . AFAIR you can browse this folder on the
CD too.

I'm trying to look for the icons/images (New/Open/Save,
Copy/Cut/Paste...) typically used in toolbars in Windows
applications, such as MS Word. I'd appreciate if anyone
can point me to a webpage that have those images. Thanks.

Hi,
I created a toolbar, added button and Icons from an ImageList.
The icons are transparent for disable mode.
The problem is that the icons does not look good, a blue outlet is added to
the icon.
If the image is not transparent everything looks good, but of-course, when
the buttons are disabled, the icons all gray.

Hello people!
I have a quite complicated question.
While creating a ToolBar in code, it is possible to pass the standard icons located in COMMCTRL to the image list of the ToolBar. I'm talking about the icons that most of programs use, like:
STD_COPY, STD_CUT, STD_DELETE, STD_FILENEW, STD_FILEOPEN and so on.
This is very useful because you don't need to load these icons as resources anymore, because they exist already in system.
My...

Hi All,
I am trying to get a 24x24 "Windows XP" icon to display correctly on a
button in my toolbar. My icon has 8 layers (16x16, 16x16, 24x24, 24x24,
32x32, 32x32, 48x48, 48x48) with each size having a 256 and windows xp
colored image. When my application runs, the icon with 256 colors appears
rather than the xp icon. I have tried using a manifest as well as
Application.EnableVisualStyles. No luck.
I have seen numerous articles...

I've just spent a fruitless couple of hours looking for some
information on this. I want to use the standard windows icons for
open, new, save, close, print, etc on my form's toolbar. All I can
find in the way of docs and examples is how to add a custom image.
Anyone have any examples of how to access the windows icon images for
this?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
