Where to get or how to use standard icons to toolbar? Standard icons are
save, cut, paste etc...
Thanks a lot!

Hi Ryan,
I believe they are included as part of the Visual Studio .NET installation.
Look in the Common7\Graphic s folder.

Hi,
I created a toolbar, added button and Icons from an ImageList.
The icons are transparent for disable mode.
The problem is that the icons does not look good, a blue outlet is added to
the icon.
If the image is not transparent everything looks good, but of-course, when
the buttons are disabled, the icons all gray.

I'm trying to look for the icons/images (New/Open/Save,
Copy/Cut/Paste...) typically used in toolbars in Windows
applications, such as MS Word. I'd appreciate if anyone
can point me to a webpage that have those images. Thanks.

Hello people!
I have a quite complicated question.
While creating a ToolBar in code, it is possible to pass the standard icons located in COMMCTRL to the image list of the ToolBar. I'm talking about the icons that most of programs use, like:
STD_COPY, STD_CUT, STD_DELETE, STD_FILENEW, STD_FILEOPEN and so on.
This is very useful because you don't need to load these icons as resources anymore, because they exist already in system.
My...

Hello,
I am trying to make a toolbar at the bottom of my pocket pc app with
'New', 'Open', 'Delete', etc. icons on the buttons. I'm pretty sure
that there are some standard system icons in VB.NET, but I have not
been able to find them.
Any Suggestions on how to add these images, if they exist, to my
toolbar buttons?
Thanks,
Lindsay

I asked this question previously without response, so I'll rephrase
it.
I have a VB6 app which uses a third party menu/toolbar activex
control. The app includes a commonly found option, "Use Large Icons".
With the third party control, using multi-res icons (which include
alpha channel icons) results in the correct size and resolution.
I would like to use the native controls in VB2005 if possible. I note
that in the VB2005 IDE and...

Hi,
I encounter a weird problem.
I have a user control with a toolbar on it. And there is also an imagelist
for this toolbar. This toolbar has few buttons. Everything's modifier is
"protected".
I extend this user control. In the child class, I add more buttons and more
icons to toolbar and imagelist, respectively. I can see all icons for all

I've just spent a fruitless couple of hours looking for some
information on this. I want to use the standard windows icons for
open, new, save, close, print, etc on my form's toolbar. All I can
find in the way of docs and examples is how to add a custom image.
Anyone have any examples of how to access the windows icon images for
this?

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
