Removing SQL Server 2008 requirement

116 New Member
Hi,

I have an application that used to need SQL Server but no longer does. I have removed all database modules and references to SQL wherever I can find it. I have also removed the Prerequisite checkbox for SQL Server 2008.

However the application still has the following notice on installing.

Component SQL Server 2008 Express has failed to install with the following error message:
"The requested operation requires elevation. "
The following components failed to install:
- SQL Server 2008 Express

How can I get rid of all requirement for SQL Server 2008?

Thanks
