Hello
I am trying to generate an email to be sent to an operator if a SQL
Server (2000) goes down for any reason. I defined the alert to email
operator for error number "17148" which is "SQL Server is terminating
due to 'stop' request from Service Control Manager.". To test this, I
shutdown SQL Server manually. I see the above error in the Windows
Application Log, however, no emails are being sent to the Operator.
Also, when I open the...

Hi!
I'm diving into the some more ++ specific aspects of c++ (and finally
accepting that c++ is more than "a plus added to c" :), so that means
using namespaces, templates, std::strings, lists, vectors, operator
overloading and what not.. And i was wondering if there is a way to
override the global dereference operator, so to be able to check the
address that one tries to dereference. This gives the ability to throw
an exception when...

document has a write property or smth else:
if(document.write) {
}
We could do that for all of objects, so i have been surprised when i
found 'in' operator, which for above example would be used like this:

SQL Server 2005 SP2 64-bit
I am quite confused about the SQL Server Agent Alert System.
I have configured Database Mail, establishing my Profile(s) and
Account(s), and specifying SMTP server+port. I then configured SQL
Server Agent, under Properties->Alert System, to use Database Mail,
specifying a particular Mail Profile to use.
I then go into the properties of one of my Agent Jobs, and under

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies.
